About us:

Mike and Deborah Ouzts, the creative and innovative team behind FunnyFace Photography, have been capturing memories for people throughout Utah and beyond for five years. Since the time when her parents finally gave in and gave her an old, used, Russian camera when she was thirteen, Deborah has been studying and practicing the art of photography. She married Mike in 1999, who also shares her love of photography and blends with it a thorough knowledge of the technical aspects of digital photography and computers. They now have two boys and live in Farmington, Utah.

Mike and Deborah have discovered that many things worth remembering at an event sometimes happen away from the photographer as friends and family enjoy fun and candid moments with one another. In an effort to add these layers of personality-filled memories into the mix, they have developed the FunnyFace PhotoBooth.

The FunnyFace PhotoBooth was created in early 2008 in hopes of bringing more fun to a wedding. It sure was a hit and continues to be a hit everywhere it has gone. It has brought so much fun to so many people that we can't imagine our business without it.

Our New Black Photo Booth is finally here!

A conversation I had with my son last week cracked me up. I said “I will see you boys later. I’ve got to go to work.” My youngest son looks at me and says “You don’t work Dad, your just going to play in the photo booth again.” HeHeHe! I guess he’s right to some extent. We have been so buzy and we have had so much fun over the last month!

And now for the Drum roll please! We have finally added a 2nd photo booth to our team and we love it like crazy! A Special Big thanks to Deborah, Steve, Tim, Sarah, and Julia for all your help. This photo booth would not have come together without you guys. One of the changes that we did for this 2nd booth was making the signage on the photo booth interchangeable. We can now brand our 2nd photo booth to anyone’s event and make it your own. This is so amazing. Another thing we did was make the Outside LCD Screen bigger. Our brown photo booth has a 19″ LCD screen on the outside and our new black photo booth now has a 27″ LCD/TV screen and it is gorgeous. The new photo booth still prints out the same great quality prints and is very sharp looking. There are also two different color choices for the drapes that go on it, we have black drapes and we also have a set of dark burgundy drapes. Many choices to choose from and now very customizable. We hope you love it and we hope that you will get to play in it very soon. Congratulations to Sean & Mallory! (Winners of our Utah Photo Booth Rental Giveaway)

If you follow this blog you’ll remember that a couple of months ago we had a Photo Booth Rental Giveaway. Sean was the luck winner of that giveaway and he quickly transferred the win right over to his best friend and love of his life, Mallory. I do have to say Sean, that you are one seriously lucky guy. You not only scored the girl of your dreams but you scored a photo booth at your wedding too, now that is over the top! I so wish that I had a photo booth at our wedding. Sean & Mallory were happily married last Saturday and we are so happy that everyone had a blast with the photo booth at their wedding. The FunnyFace PhotoBooth fit right in at Noah’s in South Jordan, Utah.

Its funny how after running our photo booth for 2 years now that I still get a lot of the same comments at each event. Some of those same comments from last Saturday were ones that I’ve heard before, like: “No Way!, Is this photo booth here all the time?” ”This is such a great idea, I’ve never seen this before.” ”This is the funnest thing ever!” “Can we go in again?” “Is this FREE?” and “How much does it cost to get our picture taken?”
